Connect Telegram to ChatGPT

Three steps. ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Team, or Enterprise required (Apps feature).

Enable Developer Mode

In ChatGPT Settings → Connectors → Advanced, toggle on Developer Mode. This lets you add custom MCP apps.

Add the app URL

In Settings → Connectors → Create, choose I trust this application, paste the URL below, and click Create.

OAuth + QR scan

ChatGPT redirects to our OAuth screen. Approve, then scan the QR with Telegram → Settings → Devices → Link Desktop Device. ChatGPT redirects back and the app is ready.

Troubleshooting

Two QR codes appeared

ChatGPT sometimes opens two parallel OAuth flows on first connect. Scan either QR — the second flow auto-redirects to the first session. Closing the duplicate tab is fine.

"Link not found" after restart

ChatGPT doesn't auto-reconnect after server restarts. Disconnect and reconnect the app in ChatGPT Settings → Apps to re-establish the SSE stream.
